Operations Coordinator Position

The Chamber Music Kelowna Society invites applications for an experienced part time Operations Coordinator with leadership skills, fundraising expertise and the ability to manage the administration of a non profit performing arts organization.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Operations Coordinator will assist the Board in advancing the Society’s mission, goals and strategic objectives, and oversee the administration of the organization, including volunteer coordination, communications, grant writing and fundraising activities.

Qualifications
The successful candidate must have proven ability to handle the responsibilities outlined above and will also possess an understanding and appreciation of music.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, as is proficiency with office software programs and social media.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a part time contract position with flexible hours anticipated to average approximately 30 - 40 hours a month, budgeted at $10,000- $12,000 per annum.
