Mary Irwin Theatre
421 Cawston Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. (Downtown near the Grand Hotel and between the Kelowna Art Gallery and the historic Laurel Building).
The capacity of the tiered MIT is approx. 320 seats. Our patrons love this intimate setting since all seats have good visibility and acoustics.
We suggest the Library Parkade (accessed from Ellis or Doyle) if you do not find street parking closer. The elevator will be functioning and an attendant present for the evening.
The Parkade is connected to the Rotary Centre for the Arts by a well-lit walkway just west of the Parkade – turn right as you leave the Parkade entrance and find a ramp that leads down and right onto the walkway. It is about a half-block to the RCA’s south entrance.
Skyreach parking across Cawston Ave. from the RCA is more expensive.
All evening concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. All afternoon matinees begin at 2:00 p.m. Intermission is generally 15 minutes and takes place 45 minutes to one hour into the concert. Refreshments and snacks are available at Staccato’s Bistro, in the lobby of the Rotary Arts Centre.
The box office will open at 45 minutes prior to concert time. Seating is reserved except for a very limited number of free student (17 years and under) "rush" seats. Phone 250-869-2204 for more information.
There are handicapped parking spots behind the RCA.
The Mary Irwin Theatre is steep. There is an elevator and wheelchair space is available. Please indicate this requirement when you buy your ticket or call us to make arrangements with the theatre.
